Collingwood Garden Club

February 14 @ 7:30 pm

Why bother to plant vegetables? Forget the potential dollar savings and the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while pulling weeds in the hot summer sun, the real reason to grow veggies is – taste! Imagine shuffling out to the vegetable gardens in your fuzzy slippers and housecoat to pick and eat, on the spot, the tomato that your own effort has produced. Why do you think Ken keep’s a salt shaker in his housecoat pocket?

Join Ken Brown as he talks about his vegetable garden and how he get’s maximum yield and maximum taste from the vegetables he grows on his urban lot. For more information about Ken, visit www.gardening-enjoyed.com

Cost: Members no charge, non- members by donation of a non-perishable food item to our Salvation Army hamper.
